Strong advocacy requires both strategic investment and meaningful engagement. Discover how the DCUC National Advocacy Fund (NAF) and the Defending Credit Unions PAC (DCU PAC) work together to strengthen and advance the voice of defense credit unions. Learn how the NAF supports research, public policy initiatives, legal analysis, grassroots engagement, strategic communications, and other advocacy efforts that protect and advance the credit union mission. Explore how the DCU PAC complements these efforts by fostering relationships with policymakers who understand the credit union difference and the unique needs of military members, veterans, and their families. This session will also cover participation opportunities, governance, and PAC guidelines, while highlighting how these two initiatives work together to build long-term advocacy capacity and help ensure credit unions remain proactive, influential, and well-positioned to address an evolving legislative and regulatory landscape.
